FDK FUN NIGHTS

!Special Guest!
Julie Sweeting, Manager of Oldham Additional Needs Service, will be attending
the launch of our first Fun Night at our new venue!

Friday 23rd May  7pm - 9pm

Chadderton Court,
451 Middleton Road,
Chadderton.
Oldham
OL9 9LB
(opposite ASDA)

This will be an opportunity for Julie to meet with parents and children at the group and
learn more about what we do, and for we as parents to learn a thing or two as well.

Same old Fun Nights, same old friends and same old activities plus
new friends,  NEW VENUE at Chadderton Court, and new activities.

Crafts   Face Painting   Team Games    Parachute  
 Activity Tasters  Internet cafe.
 Focused social and communication group work.
Also for some children there is

One to one speech and language therapy- (subject to availability).

This is the day-time 'drop-in' for FDK Parent Support as "The Parents Resource Room"
at Rock Street has become available for Parent Groups in Oldham.


The FDK library will be stored there for members to use.

We will be sharing the room (seperately) with other parent support groups such as Aspace and OSCA,
as well as non-parent groups in order that the most use possible is made of this resource.

FDK will have sole use of the room for the 'drop-ins' between 11am - 3pm
on the first and third Monday of every month.

OMBC Parent Forum for Additional Educational Needs

OSCA(Oldham Support for Carers in Autism) have kindly invited fdk members to join them
in their monthly swimming sessions.

They are held on the first Sunday of each month, at Glodwick Swimming Baths.

Time: 12 noon - 1:30 pm
Cost: £1.50 per child

The sessions are held in a room set aside for this upstairs in the school
 but accessed through a door with a buzzer through which you speak to someone

QEST team upstairs who then let you in.
