 Parent support Nights
We hold a 'Support Night' once a month, always on a Thursday at The Link Centre, Union Street, Oldham.

This is usually only for parents and carers as the children could find it boring, but if you can't get a babysitter
bring them along, we always manage to occupy them and keep them happy and it's nice to be able to
meet the children in a quiet setting on a one to one basis.

The evening starts at 6pm with a committee meeting, we don't stand on ceremony so feel free to jump in!

Then at 7pm-ish the 'support' part of the night begins when parents and carers in the same situation
as each other share experiences and ideas, discussing problems and discovering solutions.

If your Dyspraxic child is having a hard time in school or you're having difficulty securing the right
support for your child or you're going through the statementing process - other parents at FDK
already have or are currently going through the same as you. So feel free to pick the brains of other
members and we can reduce the the burden and share the knowledge.
